If I were to start again, I would still start with the Tamiya TT-02. Then progress to a 2WD buggy for racing. I like the 1/28 scale, but not sure if I have learned as much from 1/28 as I did from building the Execute XQ2S. The truth is I learned the most from the WL Toys 124019, but it was very frustrating, and at this point, I don’t want to touch the 124019, afraid something will break.
Although I have not built or driven a 1/10 scale monster truck like the Tekno RC SCT410.3 or the Team Associated Rival MT10, I can see the advantage of starting with a stunt truck; for me, I like Tamiya and the fine engineering and the online community.
